🧺 We specifically designed this super narrow hallway closet for @picnicperfectlbi to store some of her AMAZING picnic decor using our favorite @elfa_creatingspace @thecontainerstore products.
Shelving was a must, but we also wanted to utilize some drawer space for smaller items. Unfortunately this closet was too narrow to use traditional drawers that mount to the wall brackets, so we got creative by mixing adjustable shelves with a tall drawer unit on wheels.
🛠️Now she can actually wheel the unit out if needed and convert this into a coat closet if the time comes. This is why we love using the @elfa_creatingspace closet systems so much - the ability to customize and adjust both now and later.

1. Use a stacking bottle organizer - not only does it utilize cabinet space better, but it allows you to see and grab your cup without knocking everything over.
➡️ This stacking bottle organizer from @thecontainerstore is my absolute favorite bc of the lined ridges, easy stacking and sleek look.
2. Adjust your shelves - Most shelves are not fixed. Find your tallest cup that needs to be stored standing up and adjust the shelf above to accommodate.
Not every cup will fit into your bottle organizer. If one is too long to fit in the organizer and close the cabinet door, leave it standing up! Just make sure to adjust the shelf above to make it fit 👍🏻
3. Corral the lids & straws - keep lids on cups if you can, and straws nearby (in the same cabinet if possible). Having everything for one categories in the same location is the easiest and most functional way to store it.
➡️ My latest obsession is this stacking drawer from @thecontainerstore that you can put under your bottle organizer. Keep all straws and lids right there with the cups without things sliding around and falling over.
